Student Affairs strives to advance the educational mission of the University by creating inclusive student-centered learning environments where students excel academically and develop personally into their best selves. Student Affairs Priorities
Greek Life Fund

The Greek Life Fund supports scholarships, leadership opportunities, professional development, and community service projects for UNC Charlotte's fraternities and sororities, a diverse and values-based community of over 40 chapters uniquely positioned to build the leaders of tomorrow.

49er Family Fund

Your gift to the 49er Family Fund, an initiative created from family support, provides opportunities to enhance the 49er experience. Donations fund campus initiatives and programs that might otherwise be unachievable due to campus budget constraints. The 49er Family Fund serves as a funding catalyst for innovative, high-impact programs that benefit the larger UNC Charlotte campus community.

Jamil Niner Student Pantry 

One in three college students experiences food insecurity. The Jamil Niner Student Pantry provides assistance to UNC Charlotte students who struggle with food insecurity. Help us do our part so that no person in the Niner community goes hungry and every student has access to nutritious food. 

Student Assistance Fund 

Your gift to the Student Assistance Fund supports students facing unexpected life emergencies. Whether it’s a sudden need for temporary housing, mental health support, or financial relief, this fund can serve as a lifeline to a student navigating a sudden disruption or life crisis.

  • For the Love of Charlotte, friends of the University's Foundation Board will match all gifts supporting the Jamil Niner Student Pantry dollar for dollar up to $7,500 during Niner Nation Gives. Give now to double your impact!
  • Since 2020, Harris Teeter has donated over $50,000 to the Jamil Niner Student Pantry. The grocer is now matching all gifts to the student pantry up to $10,000 for Niner Nation Gives! Double your impact now to support food security on our campus.
  • Hey Niner Nation! Dr. Brad Yeckley (Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation) and Katie McMurray are challenging you to support financial literacy! 15 gifts to Niner Finances will unlock a $500 bonus!
  • Lorie and Jamie Best, proud parents of senior James Best, 25' and supporters of the Family Council, have generously offered to match every dollar donated to the 49er Family Fund up to $2,500! Double your impact toward innovative, high-impact programs that benefit the larger UNC Charlotte campus community now!
  • Battle of the Student Clubs and Organizations.  Each of the TOP 3 clubs to secure the most gifts during the Big Student Event, April 10th, during Niner Nation Gives will unlock a $349 prize from Student Affairs leader Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Kevin Bailey.  Give now to move your team up the leaderboard!
  • Proud 49er employees, Betty Doster and Jodi Kaplan are challenging Niner Nation to support Student Wellness for Niner Nation Gives. 75 gifts to any student success fund will unlock their $500 reward.
