CCI Challenges:

  • Bojan and April Cukic are challenging CCI Niners through two prize opportunities: The first 49 donors will unlock a $5,000 scholarship prize, and another 49 donors from CCI will unlock a second $5,000 scholarship prize.

  • Rick Lejk has challenged Niners to support the Dr. Rick Lejk Scholarship for Niner Nation Gives! 49 gifts to the fund will unlock their $500 prize.

  • Dr. Min Shin, Chair of Computer Science, is matching gifts, dollar for dollar, in support of the Computer Science Department for NNG!

  • Chair of Software & Information Systems, Dr. Weichao Wang, has challenged the SIS to raise $1,000 during Niner Nation Gives, and he will match gifts dollar for dollar until the goal is reached.

  • Bioinformatics Chair Dr. Jun-Tao Guo has matched $1,000 in gifts to the Larry Mays Fellowship Fund and Bioinformatics Assembly of Students. Thanks for making a BIG impact, Niners! 

School of Data Science Challenges:

  • School of Data Science Executive Director Dongsong Zhang will generously match all SDS gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000.

Student scholarship support to change the lives of our students and their families.

Dr. Rick Lejk Endowed Scholarship Fund

Named in honor of Dr. Rick Lejk, a longtime faculty advisor, mentor and teacher, this scholarship assists students who show extraordinary promise to persevere through obstacles inside the classroom.  

Lawrence E. Mays Fellowship in Bioinformatics 

Named for founding chair and professor emeritus, Dr. Larry Mays, the scholarship supports Bioinformatics students.

School of Data Science Fund

Supports the most critical priorities of the School of Data Science (SDS) to enhance and broaden the experience for SDS faculty and students.

Dr. Mirsad Hadzikadic Fellowship

Named for the founding dean of CCI and founding executive director of the School of Data Science, this fund provides scholarship support for students enrolled within the School of Data Science.
