Our Niner Network is talented, determined, inspiring and brimming with influence. For the 49 hours of #NinerNationGives, you can shape the future of The William States Lee College of Engineering by making gifts in any amount to our programs and initiatives. Funds include scholarships (Alumni Scholarship Fund), student organizations (such as ASCE, Rocketry Club and race teams), and student programs (including Leadership Academy and diversity programs).
We are excited to offer matching and challenge gifts again this year, which will increase the impact of your contribution significantly. Gifts of any amount will be more valuable than ever, so please make your contribution now.
Thank you for your support!
Up for the Challenge?
Make a bigger impact by taking advantage of the following challenges!
- Dean Robert Keynton has challenged student organizations of Engineering to get donor support - the student group with the most donors will receive $490 for their student organization!
- The Lee College of Engineering is calling upon all alumni and friends to celebrate the career of Construction Management Professor, Glenda Mayo, during #NinerNationGives. If 249 donors rally to honor Dr. Mayo's dedication to student success and love for teaching with a gift to Engineering, an anonymous donor will reward the college with $25,000.
- Thanks to one of our amazing supporters, every donor to the College of Engineering during #NinerNationGives will be entered into a raffle to win 4 tickets to an upcoming Charlotte FC match! A parking pass and food/beverage gift card will also be included.

College of Engineering Discretionary Fund
The College of Engineering's Discretionary Fund provides critical resources including the creation of new strategic initiatives, elevating and expanding research, supporting student programs, recruiting outstanding undergraduate and graduate students to the College, and providing professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
The Alumni Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to undergraduate College of Engineering students. By donating to this fund, you directly support students who will become professional engineers and alumni contributors themselves. So support the Alumni Scholarship Fund to continue the cycle of paying it forward…it’s one of the best ways alumni can give back to their alma mater!
