All gifts to any fund are being matched 2:1 by a generous Alumni Couple, Gene '73 and Vickie '71, '82 Johnson! That means if you give $20 to the fund of your choosing, they'll match that x2, increasing the impact of your gift to $60!

That means that if you make a gift of just $10 to any area of campus, a generous donor will give $20 to the same fund! If every student gave just $10, we'd be able to raise over $1,000,000 for current and future 49ers!
By making a gift, you're investing in other 49ers. You'll be paying it forward because of support from Niners (alumni and students) who paved the way for you.
Students are welcome to join us for The BIG Student Event on Wednesday, April 6th from 10:30am-2:30pm at the CHHS/CoEd Quad and the EPIC Lobby. Or swing by the Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City from 4:30-6:00 pm. Or join us at Belk Plaza on Thursday, April 7th from 10:30am-2:30pm.
There will be FREE food, shirts and swag* (*while supplies last).

The brick walkway is located between Cameron Boulevard and the football stadium. 49er Way – one of the most traversed and photographed routes on campus – it's the path the Charlotte 49ers football team, band, and fans take during home football games.
Seniors and 2022 Graduates: We have been challenged to reach 500 donors! If we reach our goal, we will get an emblem placed along Niner Walk near the stadium dedicated to the Class of 2022.

Leave your Legacy on Campus
This year, the Class of 2021 is staking their claim through a brick campaign to benefit Student Success initiatives, including the Student Emergency Fund, Jamil Niner Student Pantry, and the Alumni Scholarship for Social Justice. Every gift of $49 $13 or more, made by or on behalf of a graduating senior, will be honored with a personalized brick in 49er Way. We need your help in donating to this fund!
The Evergreen Scholarship Fund is a unique and flexible scholarship fund designated to help our students with their ultimate goal - to graduate. The fund allows the University to evaluate current enrollment, student retention rate, financial aid, and graduation gaps annually. As a result, the Evergreen Scholarship Fund allows the University to combine several donors' gifts, regardless of size, to leverage additional funding for students to get them over a small financial hurdle.
Your gift to the Student Assistance Fund supports students facing unexpected life emergencies. Whether it’s a sudden need for temporary housing, mental health support, or financial relief, this fund can serve as a lifeline to a student navigating a sudden disruption or life crisis. One gift can make a huge difference.
Jamil Niner Student Food Pantry
The Jamil Niner Student Pantry provides assistance to UNC Charlotte students who struggle with food insecurities, helping ensure that every student has access to nutritious food. During this time, the on-campus pantry remains open for students, utilizing a web order form to maximize social distancing. The staff bags the groceries and hands them to students so they don’t have to shop in the pantry. A contribution of $50 to the Jamil Niner Food Pantry will provide seven lunches and a $100 donation will feed one student dinner all week.
