Student Affairs Priorities
Greek Life Fund
The Greek Life Fund supports scholarships, leadership opportunities, professional development, and community service projects for UNC Charlotte's fraternities and sororities, a diverse and values-based community of over 40 chapters uniquely positioned to build the leaders of tomorrow.
49er Family Fund
Your gift to the 49er Family Fund, an initiative created from family support, provides opportunities to enhance the 49er experience. Donations fund campus initiatives and programs that might otherwise be unachievable due to campus budget constraints. The 49er Family Fund serves as a funding catalyst for innovative, high-impact programs that benefit the larger UNC Charlotte campus community.
Jamil Niner Student Pantry
One in three college students experiences food insecurity. The Jamil Niner Student Pantry provides assistance to UNC Charlotte students who struggle with food insecurity. Help us do our part so that no person in the Niner community goes hungry and every student has access to nutritious food.
Student Assistance Fund
Your gift to the Student Assistance Fund supports students facing unexpected life emergencies. Whether it’s a sudden need for temporary housing, mental health support, or financial relief, this fund can serve as a lifeline to a student navigating a sudden disruption or life crisis.

- Charlotte's Veterans Services Office is dedicated to the support and success of our military-affiliated student body. In honor of Charlotte's veterans, Professor Emerita Linda Swayne will match each gift to the Veterans Services Support fund, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 during Niner Nation Gives.
- Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Kevin Bailey has challenged students, alumni, and friends to support SAFE, Students Achieving First-Year Excellence, during NNG. If 49 SAFE gifts are secured in 49 hours, Bailey will give an additional $1,000 to the program.
- Russell Allen '73 is doubling the impact to UNC Charlotte's Student Emergency Fund! He will be matching all Student Emergency Fund gifts dollar for dollar up to $5,000. Give now!
- Since 2020, Harris Teeter has donated more than $100,000 to the Jamily Niner Student Pantry. The grocer is now matching all gifts to the student pantry up to $10,000 for Niner Nation Gives!
- Yuri and Art '01 Wrightson, proud parents of Annlie Wrightson and supporters of the Family Council, have thrown down the gauntlet for Niner Nation Gives. If the 49er Family Fund secures 75 gifts in 49 hours, a $2,500 bonus gift will unlock from the Wrightsons!
All Student Gifts Are Being Matched x2!
All student gifts (up to $149*) are being matched x2 by a generous Alumni couple, Gene '73 and Vickie '71, '82 Johnson! That means if you give $20 to the fund of your choice, they'll match that x2, increasing the impact of your gift to $60! (*$15,000 cap.)
