This year, Charlotte Athletics is experiencing continued success in the American Athletic Conference. Our men's soccer team won the AAC Championship, securing back-to-back titles. Matias Iturbe and Vasco Prata achieved a historic feat by claiming the first-ever AAC Men's Tennis Individual Championships Doubles Title, which earned the program its first-ever berth in the NCAA Doubles Championship.
Women's Lacrosse launched its inaugural season with a remarkable American Athletic Conference record of 20 goals in their first game. Additionally, the men’s golf team has earned a spot among the top 30 rankings to kick off their spring season.
In the classroom, our student-athletes continue to excel:
- Fall 2024 Departmental Cumulative GPA: 3.242
- 68% (323) of student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better (Athletic Director's List)
- 18% (84) of student-athletes earned a 4.0
