Niner Nation is wherever you are, and for the 49 hours of #NinerNationGives Lee College of Engineering Niners everywhere can show your support of the college by making gifts in any amount to our programs and initiatives. Funds include scholarships (Alumni Scholarship Fund), student organizations (such as ASCE, Rocketry Club and race teams), or student programs (including Leadership Academy and diversity programs).

We have some matching and challenge gifts set up this year, which will increase the impact of your contribution significantly. Gifts of any amount will be more valuable than ever, so please, make your contribution now.

  • Distinguished Professor Steven Patterson will be doubling your impact by matching all engineering gifts dollar for dollar up to $25,000
  • 349 gifts to the College will unlock $12,500 from Mechanical engineering alumnus Thomas Roddey '01 for Veterans in Engineering

  • Dean Robert Keynton will award $490 to the Engineering student organization with the most alumni donor support 

Make a Difference 

College of Engineering Discretionary Fund

The College of Engineering's Discretionary Fund provides critical resources for supporting the needs of the College, including accomplishment of strategic goals, creation of new strategic initiatives, elevating the research portfolio, raising awareness of the College, enabling student success, recruiting outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, and providing professional development opportunities for the faculty and staff of the College.

The Alumni Scholarship Fund

The Alumni Scholarship Fund provides direct financial assistance to undergraduate College of Engineering students. By donating much-needed funds to current students, who in the coming years will become professional engineers and then alumni contributors themselves, the Alumni Scholarship Fund continues the cycle of paying it forward and is one of the best ways alumni can give to their alma mater.

Engage ME!

Engage ME! is a College of Engineering diversity and inclusion program designed to successfully recruit, retain and graduate multicultural students with degrees from engineering, engineering technology, and construction management programs. The main pillars of the program include:

  • Building a strong community of College of Engineering students
  • Connecting students to social networking activities and events
  • Fostering academic and professional development 
  • Positioning students to recognize and seize opportunities for success
