UTOP participants will:
- Achieve an academic head start at Charlotte
- Develop a supportive community
- Improve their leadership skills
Undergraduate Education Excellence Fund
(Faculty and Staff payroll link: Undergraduate Education Fund)
The Office of Undergraduate Education offers a wide range of academic support services, including tutoring, coaching, and workshops aimed at fostering student success and promoting academic excellence. With a belief that every student can thrive with the right support, the Office of Undergraduate Education makes every effort to meet students where they are to get them to where they want to be.
Office of Undergraduate Research
(Faculty and Staff payroll link : Undergraduate Research)
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) empowers UNC Charlotte students to turn their education into real-world impact. With hands-on research experiences, students take on meaningful challenges in our community and beyond by applying their knowledge in ways that matter. OUR connects students to faculty mentorship that make these experiences possible, provides presentation opportunities, and fosters student learning and development through research. The return is powerful: students build essential career-ready skills including communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. They gain confidence, discover their voice, and learn what they're capable of achieving. When you invest in undergraduate research, you open the door for more students to become bold thinkers, compassionate leaders, and innovators who shape what's next.
The power of our collective "change" can have the power to change Niner Nation and the world, one student at a time. Thanks for being a positive changemaker and for investing in our students and staff!
