Our Niner Network is talented, determined, inspiring and brimming with influence. For the 49 hours of #NinerNationGives, you can shape the future of The William States Lee College of Engineering by making gifts in any amount to our programs and initiatives. Funds include scholarships (Alumni Scholarship Fund), student organizations (such as ASCE, Rocketry Club and race teams), and student programs (including Leadership Academy and diversity programs).
We are excited to offer matching and challenge gifts again this year, which will increase the impact of your contribution significantly. Gifts of any amount will be more valuable than ever, so please make your contribution now.
Thank you for your support!
Up for the Challenge?
Make a bigger impact by taking advantage of the following challenges!
- Dean Robert Keynton has challenged engineering student organizations to get donor support - the student group with the most donors will receive $490 for their student organization!
- YOU DID IT! Thank you, W. S. Lee Engineering alumni and friends, 249 gifts in 24 hours has unlocked Professor Evett's $14,049 reward. But there's still time, and he's now challenging the college to finish strong with 500 total gifts for engineering during #NinerNationGives. It takes a nation, give now to unlock another $14,049!
- The W.S. Lee College of Engineering is calling upon all alumni to help endow the scholarship in memory of Engineering Technology Professor, Glenda Mayo, during #NinerNationGives. If 49 alumni rally to honor Dr. Mayo's dedication to student success and love for teaching with a gift to her scholarship, an anonymous donor will reward the college with $15,000.
- Mechanical Engineering has many highly competitive student organizations which give real world experience and represent Charlotte in national competitions! The ME Department will contribute a 10% match of any contributions to the Formula SAE IC, Formula SAE EV, and NASA Student Launch Competition teams up to $1,000 each! Also, the team which raises the most will receive a $500 bonus donation from the Department.
