Graduate education is fundamental to the mission of UNC Charlotte. As North Carolina’s urban research university, we continually strive to educate the passionate, innovative researchers, scholars, entrepreneurs and creative artists who will be the leaders of tomorrow in the Charlotte region, and beyond. Our exceptional graduate students are unstoppable when they hold the power of an advanced degree.
On this day of giving, we encourage you to support UNC Charlotte graduate students through a gift to the Graduate School. Here is where students like Nathan Lambert receive a Veterans Graduate Fellowship to help him pursue his master’s degree in mechanical engineering with an interest in aerospace engineering. Or Krista Collins, a North Carolina public high school English teacher, who with funding from the Graduate School’s Faye Jacques Memorial Graduate Fellowship, is working toward her master’s degree in Instructional Systems Technology.
The Graduate School goes beyond the resources of individual academic departments to assist all graduate students. Our Center for Graduate Life offers professional development programming as well as academic courses to enhance a graduate student’s plan of study. Through a variety of skills development programs offered in the CGL, our graduate students obtain a leg-up on their competition and a jump-start on their career paths.
Join us in this 36 hours of giving by supporting those who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
Thank you for making #NinerNationGives a great success! We are tallying the numbers now and will be back soon with official results. We couldn't have done it without the outstanding support from all of Niner Nation.
