College of Arts + Architecture

The College of Arts + Architecture (CoA+A) is dedicated to developing cultural leaders who excel in creative thought, action and communication across five arts and design disciplines. The interdisciplinary structure of the College promotes collaborative and innovative investigations that result in new approaches to our changing world. We believe that art-making is complex problem-solving.

As you take part in Niner Nation Gives, we hope you will support student scholarships in the CoA+A. Scholarships will allow us to compete for strong students and to attract a diverse student body, both demographically and across a wide range of talents and skills. By attracting these students to UNC Charlotte, we increase the pool of talent in the Charlotte region. Our students become the bedrock of the regional design and cultural community.

The Pride of Niner Nation marching band serves students in every college in the University; however, because the band is operated and housed within our Department of Music, the CoA+A feels a strong sense of ownership and commitment to its success. Your support helps us provide scholarships to all band students. The band brings excitement to every home football game. And in 2018, the Pride of Niner Nation will represent our entire nation at Normandy, France, as the only American band at the 74th anniversary of D-Day.
