At the UNC Charlotte College of Education, our vision is to be a national leader in educational equity through excellence and engagement. We are committed to preparing teachers, counselors, and school leaders who will provide all youth with access to the highest quality education possible and to meet the needs of all students, regardless of their backgrounds.
To pursue our mission in the community, and to address the current shortage of teachers and principals in the pipeline, we need to attract top talent in our teacher, counselor and principal programs and pioneer new models of preparation that promise to make an impact on student learning. Recruiting new talent to the field can be achieved simultaneously with program reform, but only with the investment of both public and philanthropic dollars.
Your donation to the college or a specific department will help us recruit and retain excellent students and faculty, support research of today’s most pressing issues in education, and foster our nationally recognized community outreach programs.
